Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, modification, publication or distribution, in whole or in part, by any means whatsoever, is prohibited without prior written authorisation, with the exception of private use for personal and non-commercial purposes.
6. Third-party textual sources
Shivim quotes texts from the Torah, the Talmud and their commentaries. The texts displayed are drawn in particular from the following public sources, under their respective licences:
- Sefaria (sefaria.org) — a free corpus under open licences (CC0, CC-BY-SA, etc. depending on the works).
- Hebcal (hebcal.com) — Hebrew calendar, Shabbat times and Daf Yomi, under a Creative Commons licence.
Shivim claims no ownership of these texts; we provide a study-aid service that relies on these public resources. Full references accompany each citation to allow verification against the original source.
7. External links
The service may contain links to external sites (Sefaria, publishers' sites, etc.). Shivim exercises no control over these sites and disclaims all liability as to their content, availability or the use that may be made of them.
8. Reporting content
In accordance with Article 6 I-5 of the LCEN, any user may report manifestly unlawful content to support@shivim.ai. We will process any notification as promptly as possible and reserve the right to remove the content in question if the report is well-founded.
This document is provided for information purposes. For any dispute, the applicable law is French law.
