A Shivim tool
Kosher product search
Type a brand or a product: Shivim looks it up in the lists of the Consistoire de Paris, Rav Wolff and Les Bons Plans Cachères, and queries the Orthodox Union register live, with the markers, the authorities cited and the rule of each section.
These lists are based on lenient opinions. They do not guarantee that production will remain unchanged throughout the year. By default, it is preferable to consume supervised milk and products purchased exclusively from kosher stores.
Editions and their validity are public — create a Free account for 7 days of kosher search access (no subscription), then unlimited with Premium.
Shivim reproduces the lists published by their authors and issues no halakhic ruling of its own. When in doubt, refer to the official list and to your rabbinic authority.
